Murex Shells are a popular and highly attractive choice for Land Hermit Crabs. All shells are cleaned and ready to use.
Their large round openings make them a preferred choice by both Keeper and Crab and are ideal for species such as Purple Pincher (Coenobita clypeatus) & Strawberry Hermit Crabs (Coenobita perlatus) who show a preference for shells with a round opening.
Land Hermit Crabitats should always contain a few extra shells of varying styles and sizes so your crabs can pick and choose which suits them best.
Available in 4 sizes:
Small: opening sizes of 16 – 20mm x 23 – 27mm
Medium: opening sizes of 21 – 23mm x 30 – 33mm
Large: opening sizes of 24 – 26mm x 3 2– 35mm
Extra Large: opening sizes of 26 – 29mm x 38 – 40mm
